You’ve experienced the goodness of God in your life. You know that His truth is thoughtfully penned into the pages of the Bible.

And yet– when your coveted moments of ‘quiet time’ roll around… you’re at a loss as to where to start reading.

Let’s see if this scenario sounds familiar…

It’s early in the morning.

You sneak out of bed before anyone can hear you. You grab your Bible and a mug of coffee. Snuggling up in your favorite spot, you open your Bible to a story you haven’t read before.

As you begin reading, questions begin to bubble up in your mind.

…Wait, who’s speaking?

…What’s the time period?

…And goodness, why aren’t these events recorded chronologically??

You take another sip of coffee. With a deep breath, you press in.

And then, just as you sink into the plot of the story– you hear tiny feet pitter pattering your way.

The kids are up– already?

Quiet time isn’t always so quiet these days. At least– it’s not for me anymore.

Thankfully, I’ve learned that quiet time with the Lord evolves to fit our current season of life.

I think as we get older and busier, it becomes even more important to spend time with Jesus. And it can be a delight to do so.

What If...

● …you woke up in the morning feeling giddy for your fresh dose of ‘daily bread’?
● …you could feel your heart swell with wonder as you read God’s living Word, watching His story unfold before your eyes?
● …you felt empowered to apply scriptural principles to your life to make a positive change?

Sis, it is possible to feel those butterflies again during your dates with the Lord.

He has so much in store for us. God wants to teach us– about Him, and about ourselves. And of course, how we fit into His eternal story.

But this beautiful masterpiece of God’s Word compromises 66 separate books, spanning across more than 1,000 years. It’s no small undertaking.

Where’s a gal to begin?

That’s where I come in!

Welcome to Chasing Sacred

Our History

I’ve always loved the Bible.

As a young girl, I grew up in Thailand with parents that were Bible translators.

The reality of His Word came alive to me as an adult, however, when I was struggling with unmet expectations.

After moving to New York City in pursuit of my dancing career– God abruptly changed my trajectory. I was reconnected with my now-husband, and we got married and began having babies.

As I grappled with my new roles as wife and mother, I needed an anchor. My focus was being pulled in all different directions, and I needed something, (someone) to keep me steady.

So, I fixed my eyes firmly on Jesus, clinging to Scriptural truths tighter than ever before.

Each day I’d pore over my Bible, chasing God’s unwavering love. I was hungry to learn more about His promises.

Throughout this journey, I began blogging about my findings, and I even began sharing devotionals with loved ones. Around this time, I also began my Master’s degree in Theology.

With my loved one’s encouragement, and a whole ‘lotta prayer– Chasing Sacred was borne.

Our Mission

Our mission is to equip women with sound theology and doctrine to properly read, interpret, and apply the teachings of the bible. Through study tools, e-courses, and other forms of teaching– we want to propel you forward in the Gospel, all for God’s glory.

By digging into the text using the infamous Inductive Bible Study method, we uncover the true meanings behind each chosen passage of scripture.

And of course, we’ll walk through ways you can apply the scriptures to your life.

Our Heart Behind Chasing Sacred

● We desire to glorify God with our lives by putting him first.
● We are passionate about God’s Word and the pursuit of him.
● We are Gospel-centered. (John 3:16)
● We believe in the Triune God.
● We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God. (2 Timothy 3:16)
● We believe in the transforming work of the Holy Spirit.
● We believe that Jesus Christ died on the cross for our sins because of his great love for us, that through him we receive forgiveness of sins, and eternal life. When you confess and believe that Jesus Christ is Lord you will become a partaker and an heir.

Because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved.

For the Scripture says, “Everyone who believes in him will not be put to shame.”

For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is Lord of all, bestowing his riches on all who call on him. For “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved."

(Romans 10:9-14)
